Poke-Corr: Mei

Growing up outside of the City, Mei lived a rather extravagant life. Although having a rich businessman of a father, her mother had died soon after due to illness and thus she  decided to put her time to making her father happy. She loved her father dearly and pursued into following his footsteps of  becoming high up in the business industry. However, because of a certain bankruptcy regarding cyber hackers, her father's business soon fell out of line and into disappearance. Her father fell to suspicious trades, as well as to other odd jobs. But with big money coming in due to this, she proposed to him about doing the same. At first, he had  denied heavily before inevitably accepting her pleas and soon enough, the teen had been put into a gang that worked alongside those of her father's partners. She soon began having actual fun doing the hardly-legal jobs that ranged from collecting/trading information to breaking into enemy quarters, momentarily forgetting why she was doing these jobs in the first place.

However, this would soon turn into her worst mistake.

As the police infiltrated their quarters one day due to a leak, Mei's father was blackmailed by his partners as the head honcho of the illegal dealings and sent to jail, with his money and various other items stolen. With this treachery she blasted the headquarters and left, vowing that someday she would be able to get the evidence and the money to free her father out. Her father whispered through his cell bars to her that instead she should turn a leaf, and fight those who had done this, to fight for her freedom and her beliefs. "I'll be out soon, so don't stay here. They might just catch you too. You know how corrupted the government and the world can really be..." With those words, she nodded, wished farewell to her father and left, soon arriving in The City. With no intentions of involving herself with the Government, she strayed far away from the Officials and away from the murky alleys who she knew would have some sort of gangs, soon stumbling upon the words from a certain staraptor about a group called the Liberators, who wished to rid the corruption that littered the streets. Searching her way, she met their leader and thus joined, eyes burning with passion.
